The headbands I've been working on sure provide a lot of opportunities for creativity!
Here's one of them that I made this weekend:
It's hard to tell, but the buttons are sort of metallic. It was a great match with the sage green headband.
(I think it's time to find someone to model these headbands. They look so much cuter ON someone!)
Once I was finished with that, I had a couple extra minutes. I put together a washcloth/sponge. You can never have too many!
Day 1, Friday morning projects complete. More coming soon from the rest of the weekend!
Visiting from Paisley Passion's Blog hop! Following to see all your upcoming projects!
ReplyDeleteI love that green! I made a phone cozy that kinda looks like your washcloth. I have yet to post the pic, but I will soon.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it! I keep threatening to make a laptop case for hubby. ;-)
ReplyDeleteMindy,
ReplyDeleteI love your headband and I do love that potholder stitch washcloth too. I love seeing all the things that you're working on. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hugs,
Tamara
this headband is cute! is the yarn cotton? I love using cotton yarn for crocheted potholders too.....
ReplyDeleteChristine: Yep, I used worsted weight cotton yarn for these. Do you post any projects?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tamara!
Mindy I've made quite a few of these "sponges" as well - I love how fast they work up!
ReplyDeleteIt's true, and they're just the right size for my hand! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the follow. I am now following back. Love the headband! I look forward to seeing what all you are making. I love to crochet when I have free time.
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented!! I love the headband! Thanks for the kind words that you shared on my post. It meant a lot!
ReplyDeleteHi Mindy...you could always crochet a cushion! If you want my address just let me know. There is a softie collection too. I think that is my favourite out of all your headbands...subtle colours that I wouldn't be afraid to wear anywhere!
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks, Carol--I'll see if I can come up with something!
ReplyDeleteCute ! I saw this at the Paisley Passions Party I love the color
ReplyDeleteThat's such a great idea for the washcloth/sponge! We waste so much money on those poufs & I don't even like them! This is so much better! Thanks for linking up!
