Mini-quilt Giveaway!
My friend Rachel at The Life of Riley is having a giveaway for a beautiful mini-quilt she made. I can't even imagine working with such tiny pieces of fabric!!
This finished mini-quilt (NOT a potholder!) measures about 7.5" square.
Hop on over there to tell her what you love about the Christmas season, and she'll enter you to win this beauty! Become her follower, too. You'll love her projects. She's even willing to ship internationally, so go enter now. You'll thank me later.

Rope and Results
If you're paying attention, you're probably wondering why I haven't announced the winner of my G is for Giveaway yet.
Wait no longer.
...not much anyway.
As stated, I prepared a new Bead Crochet Necklace as one of the prize options. Here (for R=Rope) it is in all its turquoise and pink glory:
What do you think of the color combo? The orange is an interesting addition, isn't it?
Well, moving on with the important matter (R=Results): the winner is Marie Anne, and she picked vinyl wall art for her prize!
Congratulations, Marie Anne!
If you haven't had the pleasure of checking out one of Marie Anne's blog, you need to do it!
Just read her profile, and you'll want to know her better.
Her crocheting blog, Every Day Crochet
Various thoughts blog, Marie Anne's Missives
Gardening blog, In the Garden With Sow-n-Sow
Writing blog, Write, Wrong or Indifferent
I'll be contacting you shortly to find out what you'd like, Marie Anne.
If you're terribly disappointed that you didn't win, feel free to stop by our ArtFire shop anytime!

Giveaway!
G is for Giveaway, of course!
Since we're not even halfway through this crazy A to Z Challenge, and some of you have stuck with me thus far, here's a little fun way to celebrate!
It's a giveaway of your choice.
Option #1: I have a Bead Crochet Necklace in the works for this giveaway, and I'm vacillating on whether or not I want to keep the colors a secret. It's a little fun and different, and I like it!
Option #2: Vinyl Wall Art of your choice within dimensions of 12 x 36". It can be a word, verse, name, quote, graphic, or a combination of those. If you're looking for ideas, check our PF Creations ArtFire Shop. Color options are black, brown, white, red, orange, orange-red, silver-gray, dark green, or dark blue.
Unfortunately, because of the possible crazy dimensions of shipping packages, this will have to be available in US only. Sorry to the rest of you, I really love you all dearly!!!
Mandatory entry:
Tell me which option you would pick: Mystery Bead Crochet Necklace or Vinyl Wall Art. Please leave an email address in your comment entry.
Extra entries:
- Become a public follower of my blog; leave a comment! If you're already a follower, let me know in your comment.
- Blog about this giveaway and leave me a comment with a link where I can find it (2 entries).
Please leave a separate comment for each entry.
This giveaway will end on Sunday, April 17 at noon, CST.

Hair Coverings Review and Giveaway
I'm taking a little break from the A to Z Challenge on Sundays, so this was a great time to post my next giveaway!
Hair Coverings contacted me to do a review and giveaway for them, and I was pretty excited! It's always fun to try something new for hair, right? They have a huge variety of headbands, bandannas, scarves, hats, hair clips, accessories, etc.
They sent me two great items: An Untied Headband and a Beret. I know that I'm about to open myself up to all kinds of jokes here, but there is something wrong with the shape of my head. I don't always have good luck with scarves or ribbons tied around my head. They always seem to slip off. But they're just so pretty, I like trying them anyway!
Their Untied Headband worked very well! I tied it on when my hair was still slightly damp in the morning, and it stayed all day long. (My only problem is the horrible frizzies that have a mind of their own...ignore those.)
And the Beret? Ahhhhh...you had me at "Argyle." I'm such a fan! A couple years ago, I crocheted myself a beret, and I really love it. The one sent to me by Hair Coverings is great because it is just a little bit thinner yarn, so it's great for stylish fun without extra bulk. Such versatile colors, too!
Here's where you come in: Hair Coverings is offering one of my readers a box with $25 worth of surprise hair accessories! The rules are pretty simple, and the giveaway is open world wide!
Mandatory Entry:
Visit www.HairCoverings.com and comment here which items you would love to have.

New Yarn and Patterns
Remember to enter my giveaway this week!
Anyone else out there get stuck in a rut for a while? I find projects I enjoy, and I make them to death! I constantly go back to yarn textures that I'm comfortable using. My color choices become predictable.
The good news is that I know what types of yarn I want for certain projects, and I get pretty fast at those patterns, right?! Currently, I have several "go-to" projects, and thankfully, that helps keep me from getting bored by any one of them in particular.
Just the same, it's nice to get new inspiration!
Ring, ring: MAIL TIME!
A couple weeks ago, I told you about Paula's giveaways on her blog. She was having a huge birthday celebration by sharing tons of goodies with her readers. It was such a blast! I was fortunate enough to win several skeins of yarn. They arrived in the mail yesterday! Super fun. Paula, being the VERY generous sweetie that she is, threw in a TON of fun patterns for me, too!
The tip of the iceberg:
And the new skeins of yarn:
In the busyness of Thanksgiving, I neglected to post this that Tamara from Crochet with Tamara sent to me:
So much new inspiration at my fingertips, now! I can take the hint: Get off that computer and start making something new! =D
