Special Order Headbands

A couple months ago, Kitty Cats and Airplanes did a 'Headband Week' for links of headband projects. I linked a few of mine, and Amie featured them at the end of the week! She really liked them and had wanted to get some the previous winter, but she never did. So I offered to make one for her.

Once Amie decided on colors, I found just the right yarn in my stash, whipped something together, and packaged them up for her.

...then I realized I forgot to take any pictures.

Thankfully Amie looks super cute in these headbands and took some great pictures! So here's a glimpse, photos courtesy of Amie at Kitty Cats and Airplanes. Take a look at her post to see some other great items she's received recently!

--Gray yarn with yellow cabbage rose.

--Slightly sparkly silver/gray yarn, white and yellow flowers, and a touch of bling.

Even though I have some headbands for sale in a local boutique, I think I'll be putting some more for sale in our ArtFire Shop again soon. If anyone wants to order specific colors for Christmas gifts, feel free to make a special request!

Vinyl Order

Several weeks ago, we finished and mailed off a vinyl order. It was for our Decorative Oval Tin with a name on one side and a decoration on the other. I really like the designs and fonts they picked out!

Aren't they cute?

Giveaway!

G is for Giveaway, of course!

Since we're not even halfway through this crazy A to Z Challenge, and some of you have stuck with me thus far, here's a little fun way to celebrate!

It's a giveaway of your choice.

Option #1: I have a Bead Crochet Necklace in the works for this giveaway, and I'm vacillating on whether or not I want to keep the colors a secret. It's a little fun and different, and I like it!

Option #2: Vinyl Wall Art of your choice within dimensions of 12 x 36". It can be a word, verse, name, quote, graphic, or a combination of those. If you're looking for ideas, check our PF Creations ArtFire Shop. Color options are black, brown, white, red, orange, orange-red, silver-gray, dark green, or dark blue.

Unfortunately, because of the possible crazy dimensions of shipping packages, this will have to be available in US only. Sorry to the rest of you, I really love you all dearly!!!

Mandatory entry:
Tell me which option you would pick: Mystery Bead Crochet Necklace or Vinyl Wall Art. Please leave an email address in your comment entry.

Extra entries:
- Become a public follower of my blog; leave a comment! If you're already a follower, let me know in your comment.
- Blog about this giveaway and leave me a comment with a link where I can find it (2 entries).

Please leave a separate comment for each entry.

This giveaway will end on Sunday, April 17 at noon, CST.

Bead Crochet Bracelet

A couple weeks ago, I decided to use some extra beads from a Christmas project to make a Bead Crochet Bracelet.

This is done with a 5-color repetition rather than my standard 6-color, and I'm really happy with the slightly thinner bracelet. It is 8.5" long with a toggle clasp.

It will go into our ArtFire Shop soon, but remember to check my tutorial if you are interested in trying to make one yourself!

Coffee Cup Collars, Christmas Style

Friday evening was just a perfect amount of time to tie up loose ends.

I had started a Coffee Cup Collar on Thanksgiving to be festive for Christmas. Christmas presents then took over. I finally made the matching one. ;-) A little slow, but at least it got done!

Christmas and Candy Cane Coffee Cup Collars (alliteration, anyone?)
These may show up in our ArtFire shop, soon! (Someone may have already staked a claim on the red and white one, but others are available there.)

Smaller Bead Crochet Rope Bracelet

I wanted to try a smaller bead for another Bead Crochet Rope to achieve a more dainty bracelet.

What I used:
Size 10 thread
unknown size bead, but smaller than my 6/0 Seed Beads, larger than 11/0 beads
Size 10 crochet hook (smaller hook fit into the bead stitch much better)
85 repetitions of my 3-blue (shiny), 3-purple (frosted) pattern

Finished product of beads was 7 3/4". Once I attached the clasps, it was 9".

Here is a picture of the final product as compared to my first attempt. You can see the hook size difference and the bead size difference.
I'll be selling the Blue and Purple Bracelet on our ArtFire store once I get a better picture of it.

Personalized Silhouette in Vinyl for your car

My sister sent us a picture of my nephew that was taken for his Tae Kwon Doe class. She wanted us to cut vinyl for her to put on her van. It's fun to show your love of a sport or team on your vehicle, but it's so much MORE fun to say, "That's my son!"

This is how it turned out (it's slightly harder to see since it already has the application tape covering it).

That's my nephew!

Take a look at our ArtFire shop to see about ordering a Personalized Vinyl Silhouette for your vehicle!

With all the craziness of our computer transition, I haven't posted more Coffee Cup Collars.

Here are my most recent additions. Pink!

You can find all of the color options at our ArtFire Store. If you're looking for specific colors or designs for a gift (or for yourself), just ask!

Coffee Cup Collars

I've been wanting to make these for a while, and I finally got around to it this weekend.

They're reusable Coffee Cup Collars for your To-Go coffee cups!

I love that the warm yarn keeps your cup a little more insulated, keeps your fingers from getting burned, and they're terribly cute.

We'll be selling them in our ArtFire Store in sets of two. They'd make great Christmas or birthday presents for the coffee or tea lovers around you.

Custom designs or color requests are available!
