Little Quackers Pattern

I recently tested this pattern for Lazy Daisy Crochet. It's Quackers the Baby Duck, and he's a smaller sized cuddle blanket.

Look how cute he is!

I keep thinking he needs some little smile lines around his beak to make him even cuter. But I hate to mess with a good thing!

Her pattern is for sale here. Go check out her blog --she has some amazing giveaways pretty regularly! She's currently celebrating her followers with a great giveaway package.

Special Order Headbands

A couple months ago, Kitty Cats and Airplanes did a 'Headband Week' for links of headband projects. I linked a few of mine, and Amie featured them at the end of the week! She really liked them and had wanted to get some the previous winter, but she never did. So I offered to make one for her.

Once Amie decided on colors, I found just the right yarn in my stash, whipped something together, and packaged them up for her.

...then I realized I forgot to take any pictures.

Thankfully Amie looks super cute in these headbands and took some great pictures! So here's a glimpse, photos courtesy of Amie at Kitty Cats and Airplanes. Take a look at her post to see some other great items she's received recently!

--Gray yarn with yellow cabbage rose.

--Slightly sparkly silver/gray yarn, white and yellow flowers, and a touch of bling.

Even though I have some headbands for sale in a local boutique, I think I'll be putting some more for sale in our ArtFire Shop again soon. If anyone wants to order specific colors for Christmas gifts, feel free to make a special request!

Spring and Bling headbands

In the midst of making headbands like a maniac, I was asked to make sure there were some with plenty of bling. I adore this lady all the more for telling me she wanted more bling.

This isn't quite as much as I was going for, but here's my first attempt at adding some jewel stuff.

The red is a "standard" style I've been making. The two black ones are plain. The 4 flowers are attached to clip/pin combos for changing out as wanted. The pink one and the black one have a sparkly (though hard to see) jewel in the middle.

These are 2 spring-y ones on the left. Let's face it, spring in Wisconsin can be pretty chilly at times, so I thought I'd give it a try. I don't know if they will actually sell. The silver one has a really nice sparkle to the yarn and a jewel in the middle.
It's been a slow week for projects, but I have several waiting that I keep getting delayed from posting. Maybe next week will be back to normal...

Smaller Bead Crochet Rope Bracelet

I wanted to try a smaller bead for another Bead Crochet Rope to achieve a more dainty bracelet.

What I used:
Size 10 thread
unknown size bead, but smaller than my 6/0 Seed Beads, larger than 11/0 beads
Size 10 crochet hook (smaller hook fit into the bead stitch much better)
85 repetitions of my 3-blue (shiny), 3-purple (frosted) pattern

Finished product of beads was 7 3/4". Once I attached the clasps, it was 9".

Here is a picture of the final product as compared to my first attempt. You can see the hook size difference and the bead size difference.
I'll be selling the Blue and Purple Bracelet on our ArtFire store once I get a better picture of it.

Personalized Silhouette in Vinyl for your car

My sister sent us a picture of my nephew that was taken for his Tae Kwon Doe class. She wanted us to cut vinyl for her to put on her van. It's fun to show your love of a sport or team on your vehicle, but it's so much MORE fun to say, "That's my son!"

This is how it turned out (it's slightly harder to see since it already has the application tape covering it).

That's my nephew!

Take a look at our ArtFire shop to see about ordering a Personalized Vinyl Silhouette for your vehicle!

Coffee Cup Collars

I've been wanting to make these for a while, and I finally got around to it this weekend.

They're reusable Coffee Cup Collars for your To-Go coffee cups!

I love that the warm yarn keeps your cup a little more insulated, keeps your fingers from getting burned, and they're terribly cute.

We'll be selling them in our ArtFire Store in sets of two. They'd make great Christmas or birthday presents for the coffee or tea lovers around you.

Custom designs or color requests are available!
