Spring and Bling headbands

In the midst of making headbands like a maniac, I was asked to make sure there were some with plenty of bling. I adore this lady all the more for telling me she wanted more bling.

This isn't quite as much as I was going for, but here's my first attempt at adding some jewel stuff.

The red is a "standard" style I've been making. The two black ones are plain. The 4 flowers are attached to clip/pin combos for changing out as wanted. The pink one and the black one have a sparkly (though hard to see) jewel in the middle.

These are 2 spring-y ones on the left. Let's face it, spring in Wisconsin can be pretty chilly at times, so I thought I'd give it a try. I don't know if they will actually sell. The silver one has a really nice sparkle to the yarn and a jewel in the middle.
It's been a slow week for projects, but I have several waiting that I keep getting delayed from posting. Maybe next week will be back to normal...

  1. I love the idea of having the clip-on pin since it allows for more bling when you want it and less when you don't!

  2. These are all really cute, but I really like the red one! Very pretty! ~tina

  3. Those headbands look beautiful! I love them all! I'm thinking about making some headbands and you are inspiring me!!!
    Great weekend to you Mindy!

  4. They would still be great to wear in the evening when it gets a little cooler in the summertime..of course you could sell them to the southern hemisphere..we are in winter!
