Necklace Gift

On Saturday, I finished crocheting a necklace for a friend of mine. I had sorted the beads while hanging out with family after Christmas, so once it was thread, it went together pretty easily.

Remember to check my tutorial if you'd like to find out how to make these.

  3. I love that! I am going to snag that tutorial and bookmark it. I need more jewelry. Now that I no longer have babies tugging at my necklaces, I need to actually buy some!

  9. That is beautiful and I know that style requires extreme amounts of detail work. Love the way you put the beads together.

  11. Thank you!

DaCraftyLady--Bead crochet has been a really fun thing to learn. I only just recently picked it up. It is very different than crocheting, but the basic slip stitch is most of what you do. I would strongly recommend starting with a size 6/0 bead or (preferably) larger. Once you get the rhthym of the stitches, it becomes much easier. I hope that helps--feel free to send me questions if you try it or get confused!
