I have lived to tell the tale.
(Melodramatic much?)
My mouth surgery is over, and they were right (so far) that it wasn't as bad as pulling teeth. My chin hurts, and I feel as though I'm going to swell to Leno proportions, but it's done. Deep. Sigh.
What should I do while I "take it slow" and let it heal?
eat ice cram :0}
ReplyDeleteCrochet, read, dream and rest in between to heal..get well quickly!
ReplyDeleteYes, what Paula and Naturally Carol said. :) I hope you feel better soon. <3
ReplyDeleteI had mouth surgery a few years back. I had 2 tori's removed from the bottom of my mouth under my tongue. That was horrible. But now no more tori's! :o)
ReplyDeleteHope you get better quick! What Paula said...eat lots of ice cream!!! :)
ReplyDeleteAll great suggestions! Thanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteHookin It--that sounds awful!
Put on a favorite movie or marathon of TV shows and alternate between restful watching and crochet. Heal fast!
ReplyDeleteMmmm--sounds fabulous! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got through the surgery and are on your way to recovery! I would suggest hot baths, wine, ice cream, crocheting. probably not all at the same time though! Lots of icing / heating will probably keep the swelling down!
ReplyDeleteHey! :o) Hope you are better today! That giraffe coaster intimidated the crud out of me too. The inside was easy peasy. Once you get the hang of doing a couple of giraffe's it's all a matter of getting the rest done. If you read it real careful and go stitch by stitch on the head you'll get it. I was not going to let it get the best of me! lol. I'm glad it's done though so that I don't have to look at it anymore thinking...oh, I need to finish that! And what made it worse was, dummy me decided to do it with 2 threads at once!! Eat more ice cream and mmmmm.....mashed taters! I love me some mashed taters. (So does the rest of my fat bod!!) lol xoxo
ReplyDeleteHope the recovery is going well. I love the header.
