Scalloped Potholder

Here's my quick project from the weekend.

Sorry about the poor quality photo, but we had just left the good camera and had to settle for hubby's phone before I gave it away.

I found the pattern here and used Size H hook, and worsted weight cotton yarn. You make the pattern twice and then sc them together for a double-thickness trivet. I might even make this pattern again and add a stripe or different color for the last rounds and edging.

  2. This is really cute. I've been trying to find something that I could make for my grandma that's different than what she makes herself and I think this would fit the bill!

  8. I like this, Mindy. Good way to use up parts of skeins. Thanks for the pattern link. The yarn blog hop sounds like fun. I'll try to whip something up for it. I can't wait to see what everyone else has.

  9. I have been looking to duplicate one just like this I bought at a craft show! Mine has insulbright sandwiched inside so it is extra protected! Thanks!
